The Office of Assemblymember Sade is committed to engaging our youth in South Central.
Our Spring Fellowship Program is designed for young people who are residents of the Assembly District and have a strong connection to civic engagement. This fellowship provides participants with meaningful, hands-on experience in public service while offering a comprehensive view of how a community-centered government District Office operates.
Aspects of this program include
- Shadowing District staff members
- Legislative work/research
- Digital communications and social media
- Community organizing training
- Event and outreach support
- Creating and maintaining community relationships
